Sr. Oracle Programmer (Contractor) March 2006 - October 2009
Was on contract at the Los Angeles Unified School District, where I lead a team that develops peripheral system interfaces (ETL) for the District's new Oracle based SchoolMAX Enterprise Student Information System. Numerous major interfaces between SchoolMAX and other school systems provide critical data for programs like “No Child Left Behind.” My responsibilities include system design and programming with heavy user interaction. My team members and I develop backend PL/SQL packages to meet requirements established in written specifications. Each project requires careful attention to programming and testing to insure successful implementation and user satisfaction. My excellent level of written and oral communication skills insure that user expectations are satisfied.
Sr. Oracle Programmer (Contractor) November 2005 - March 2006
Designed and developed Oracle forms applications
At Allergan, I wrote user requirements, functional and database design specifications following accepted SDLC standards. Projects required the implementation of databases and development of a Web-based user interface. I used Oracle Designer and Oracle Forms and Reports to create user interfaces that maintained complex data relationships.
Sr. Oracle Programmer (Contractor) February 2005 - November 2005 Warner Music Group Corp. | Burbank, CA Broadcasting, Music, and Film
Developed interfaces for artist royalty information
While working for Warner Music Group, I contributed to a project that involved their royalty system which processes electronic sales revenue. It required extensive development of PL/SQL packages running in a Constellar® Hub environment using the AppWorx Enterprise Scheduler. The project developed new user interface programs in a J2EE JAVA environment using Eclipse and JDeveloper IDE tools. The project achieved rapid development through building applications based upon Struts and Oracle ADF components, which utilized Oracle's latest version of JDeveloper 10g.
Sr. Oracle Programmer (Contractor) August 2004 - January 2005 Titan International, Inc | San Diego, CA Aerospace and Defense
Developed applications using Oracle Forms & Reports
Employed by Titan International, an aerospace firm, I used Oracle's Developer tools, including Forms and Reports 6i. My assignments related to the company's manufacturing MRP system and their installation of Oracle Financials (GL, HR, AP, etc). Troubleshooting unexpected snags and solving longstanding problems were my responsibilities while also developing new reports and forms. As the point person available for PL/SQL problems, I mentored the IT staff on various aspects of Oracle databases.
Sr. Software Developer July 2002 - August 2004
Business software developer for doctor's healthcare groups
As an independent software developer, I designed and implemented an Oracle-based system, Med-Cap®, which monitors Medicare payments between healthcare providers and HMO plans. This system is Web based and uses Oracle 10g Developer Suite with Oracle 10g databases. Using Oracle Designer, Med-Cap® design information is stored in the repository where developers can easily maintain complex relationships. |
